Ahistorian
Title it all (nearly). What size base would you say is the max for Celestine if you don't want to take the mickey? I'm replacing her scrolls (and the Geminae/Zephyrim/Seraphim flight stands) with ruins, and 32mm seems too small if she's keeping that altitude. Especially when other Sisters characters are on 40mm bases. I suppose I could use a 40mm and put her on lower rubble, like the 3e/4e version. All C&C on the concept appreciated :) Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/365321-celestines-maximum-base-size/ Share on other sites
BluejayJunior
The model comes on a 32. So I'd say 32. Raven1 1 Back to top Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/365321-celestines-maximum-base-size/#findComment-5567888 Share on other sites
Dread
Basically the base dictates AoE in game terms. As for hobby, whatever you would like. 40 mm is a nice size, allows customizing it better as would a 50. You can build a customer base that allows you to remove the 32 from it like the forge world base on the Sanguinious and others. I did a commission job on him and magnetized the pieces so he could be removed from the demon part of the base and used in a game on his intended base size. Hope this helps. Ahistorian
I just opened the Celestine box and a 40mm came out, so I feel much better about using a 40mm base. I think the Sector Imperialis 60mm would still be too cheeky. Although I do have a few spare ovals... tvih
Celestine is indeed 40mm base, while the Geminae are 32mm. Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/365321-celestines-maximum-base-size/#findComment-5570544 Share on other sites
Ahistorian
I ended up putting some Sector Imperialis ruins on a 40mm base, and it looks quite nice. I'll try to start a project thread soon.
