A friend of mine has the misfortune to get double Necrons sprues minus space marine sprues.

Oof, that's going to leave a mark.  Curious to see what GW customer service does with that one.  Not like they can ship him a replacement.  

He told me they has not gotten back to him yet which is truly ashamed.

 

I know that GW customer service is really backed up due to working from home, and reduced work force. their website says to expect 7-10 days for a reply to customer service emails. I had an issue with my original Indomitus box, and it took me 7 days to hear back. As long as the email was sent to their customer serice, he'll hear back. Just need a bit of patience.

I guess it depends on two things - whether they kept a stash of any of the unique Space Marine models from the box to cover this kind of eventuality (or for studio/Warhammer World use), and whether the moulds are still serviceable.  Back when GW was discontinuing the old Specialist Games models, I had a BFG ship come with plastic sprue (gun batteries) missing - when I e-mailed GW Customer Service to let them know, they said that whilst the model had been pulled from their web site, they'd ensure one was cast up. :smile.:

How long's it been?  When I had to get in touch earlier this year when my WD didn't turn up, it took exactly the 2 weeks (14 days/10 working days) their auto-responder said it would be to get a response.  Obviously, if it's been a fair bit more than that, get upset :sad.:

I had a similar issue. I ordered two Indomitus boxes on release to be shipped to me. However since it was on pre-order day and the site was behaving erratic (reloading my cart and the like) somehow my shipping preference changed from my default (Home address) to "Ship To Store" to my nearest Games Workshop (I didn't select this, and never have, the site somehow defaulted to it on browser reload). Not a big deal right? My closest GW is 3 hours away. I called the GW Store and the manager reported he couldn't do anything, customer service would have to change the shipping preference.

 

Reached out to Customer Service that same day and got a canned response about COVID and working from home/delay and that it could take 7-10 business days to get a response. I never got a response at all. Ended up driving the 3 hours out of town to get my boxes on release day because I didn't want them to get sold to someone else (and my order refunded).

 

Still to this day haven't received a response to that e-mail/request - even just to say "sorry we missed the timetable"

Still waiting for my Dark Sphere delivery - anyone get theirs yet?

 Still waiting on mine. I contacted them yesterday after the "release" date for indomitus on their website moved back yet again (when I ordered it was showing expected release 13th November) and got this back: "Our current expectation is for the sets to be with us very early December."

Which doesn't make seeing all the other large 3rd party sellers posting pictures on social media of their indomitus orders anyless frustrating but hey ho.
