Mmmmm Napalm
It varies. Sometimes it's depicted as being silver, other times bone. I give Initiates bone aquilas, Sword Brethren silver, and Marshals/Castellans/Chaplains gold. Marshal Reinhard
White, bone, silver and sometimes gold seems to be the most common ones. Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/365377-chest-aquila-colour/#findComment-5569320 Share on other sites

tvih
I always go with silver usually with gold edges. Then again I do the exact same for my CF. For Dorn! painting.for.my.sanity
Personallly I go very slightly off-white for Sword Brethren and down, and gold for Castellans, Marshals and Chaplains. Brother Tyler
Or as per 3ed codex the eagle colour is the codex correct colour for company designationThat was the 2nd edition version when they were in Codex: Ultramarines as a Codex Chapter. Back in 3rd edition the Black Templars had white chest decorations. That was the first rulebook i bought just before codex armagheddon. Sword Brother Adelard
You're confusing the two a little. Recall that by third the chapter had started to develop its independent heraldry, as was on the 3rd cover.
