Thoughts on the Minotaurs Chapter

Well the lore of 7 cities and companies had been consistant since the old Index Astartes article back in third edition.

 

The lore in the FW books had always been good.

Thats why i will do a Minotaurs Primaris army for the new Edition.

 

Check out the Watchers of the Throne series, if you haven't. The Minotaurs make a nice appearance in the sequel. It's highly implied that they're one of the first Chapters to get Primaris, combined with fixing the messed up of a fleet-based Chapter apparently having their "home world" destroyed by the Death Guard.

I am happy with the Badab War stuff.

UM and their successors haveing a grudge against the Minotaurs is a good reason to play them. At least for me.

I’ll just say that they don’t have them because of their ties or lack thereof to the Ultramarines, but to the High Lords of Terra.

Something i expected after their fluff in the Badab War book.

 

But for me its more a modelling aspect. I didnt play 7th and 8th Edition as both werent fun to play for me.

I am getting started again and decided going füll Primaris for 40k while Oldmarines stuff will be used for 30k.

 

But i need something easy to paint to fit into existing projects and i hope to get Others into the crusade stuff.
