New article, it mentions that "Before long, players will be launching Ursus Claws of their own on Adeptus Titanicus tabletops thanks to incoming upgrade kits from Forge World." So, soonTM … eagerly awaiting but not holding my breath though (especially masked).

The pictures have already been shown earlier, nice little story.

I believe that ursus claws were originally fitted to world eaters spaceships as giant harpoons to bring enemy vessels into boarding range. It'll be interesting to see how they translate that to titans.

Yeah, I had "hoped" we might get a roadmap à la Necromunda or Warhammer Underworlds but instead we get some déjà-vu. My only question is how soon are we going to see the actual Ursus Claws released by FW, as "Before long" can mean a lot of things ...

Loosely related joke

A man was wandering in the woods pondering all the questions of life, the universe, and his own personal problems. The man could not find any answers so he sought help from God.
"God!? God?! Are you there God?!", he shouted.
God responded, "What is it my son?"
"I have a few questions, mind if I ask?"
"Go right ahead, my son - ask anything," God said.
"God, what is a million years to you?"
God said, "a million years to me is only a second."
"Hmmm", he wondered. Then he asked again, "God, what is a million dollars worth to you?"
God said, "A million dollars to me is only worth a penny."
The man lifted his eyebrows and proceeded to ask a final question. "God can I have a penny?"
And God cheerfully said, "Sure!!.....in a second."

I believe it's the other way around, the XII served so much with Audax and were so impressed they adopted them for the Conqueror.

I haven't got Betrayer at hand, but some googling seems to suggest that Conqueror had ursus claws fitted before the titans ever did, and that the titans were armed thus in imitation of the ships of the World Eaters legion.

I shall continue my research and report back.

Curious that the other Titan legios adopted them as well. But I guess that could be due to seeing audax do well with them.

With the AI releases out this week maybe the ursus claw will be out soon.

Perhaps the other legions got restocked from the forge world in question, and that was the standard model on offer.

Kind of like buying a car with a tape deck as standard and having to pay extra for the CD player?
