space wolf
I love the detail you put in the little badges on the bladeguard. How on earth did you paint a skull that small? Inquisitor lorr
Your colour palettes and execution are just perfect. I really am jealous of these guys - they look brilliant. Bryan Blaire
I love the detail you put in the little badges on the bladeguard. How on earth did you paint a skull that small?I believe that is a decal, space wolf, but I would be very interested to know if it is freehand, because I've NEVER been able to get anything done that finely and I'm very interested in some tips... BBJ, the pieces you have produced already are awe inspiring! You've got a damn mastery of your colors, that's for sure, and your cloth texturing is fantastic! blackbabyjesus and Echoesofthehearth 2 Back to top Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/365560-ashen-griffons-a-homebrew-chapter-by-bbj/page/3/#findComment-5605479 Share on other sites
blackbabyjesus
I love the detail you put in the little badges on the bladeguard. How on earth did you paint a skull that small? They're mostly decals from the transfer sheet that came with Indomitus, a few bits are freehanded but mostly decals. I am CRAZY IN LOVE WITH YOUR BASES. https://www.geekgaming.co.uk/collections/base-ready-range/products/lukes-aps-base-ready-patchy-plains That's the product, I use the geek gaming basing glue. blackbabyjesus
Finished up the outriders last night, captain is up next and then I need to figure out what to do with the Judiciar, I really don't like the head on that model, so will probably change it. Shovellovin
Great work on the outriders!  How are you applying the static grass to your bases? I recently tried static grass on a base for the first time. The result was not good. Any tips you’d care to share?
