varchilde
Greetings Frater! I am a *very* infrequent poster within Titan's Halls, but I do have a Grey Knights collection that I occasionally add models to. I recently picked up a pot of Grey Knights Steel paint as an impulse purchase and quite liked the blue tint when I used it as a dry brush over Leadbelcher on another project. So I thought "why not try it on an actual Grey Knight". Luckily I have a few GK models awaiting their turn on the painting stand and so my Apothecary jumped to the head of the queue. My GK are fairly messy as I use a black/blue wash mix over the metallics, but I reapplied the GK steel over the washed metal and it definitely "perks" it up. Not too shabby a result; and I'm hoping to get him on the tabletop as part of a socially distanced game in the next week or so. varchilde
Really digging the green! What wash do you use for the gold? Hi Cap! The Gold is Retributor washed with Argrax Earthshade. Nice and simple. Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/365638-grey-knight-apothecary/#findComment-5576670 Share on other sites
Skywrath
Welcome to the Halls, brother! The painting is definitely cleaner than mine, and the green is a nice touch over the typical blue.
