Scribe
My cross to bear... I need to know the scale. Sister vs CSM vs new Incubi/Banshees vs new Necron Warrior vs Primaris? Anyone have some pictures? Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/365678-typical-with-a-new-releasehows-the-scale/ Share on other sites
apologist
I can kick off with a Primaris marine in a fairly neutral pose next to a new Necron Warrior (and the Royal Warden): N1SB, Magos Takatus and Scribe 3 Back to top Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/365678-typical-with-a-new-releasehows-the-scale/#findComment-5577713 Share on other sites
Marshal Rohr
The Warden is a big boi. I hope they do a Lychguard version down the road. FormelyKnownAsSmashyPants
How big are Immortals next to the new Warriors, would suck if they're significantly smaller? Marshal Rohr
Same height, but Immortals are beefier. Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/365678-typical-with-a-new-releasehows-the-scale/#findComment-5577758 Share on other sites
Scribe
Nice, I don't mind that at all. Anyone have Sister vs Primaris? Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/365678-typical-with-a-new-releasehows-the-scale/#findComment-5577949 Share on other sites
Halandaar
I do have the Banshees and Incubi too, although potentially less useful as their bases are built up a bit. Scribe
Oh thats perfect. I was worried as I kept seeing people saying the Sisters scale was off, but that looks great to me. Lucerne
That's not an upright pose though Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/365678-typical-with-a-new-releasehows-the-scale/#findComment-5578000 Share on other sites
Scribe
No, but it still appears to pass the eye test, to me. Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/365678-typical-with-a-new-releasehows-the-scale/#findComment-5578002 Share on other sites

When they re-do guard, the sister will at most have to be just a forehead taller. Sisters are not a full head taller than a guardsman a lot of the time while in power armour. Scribe
Ya, the fact guard are so old is all that prevents me from playing them. I don't want to buy cadians. DeadFingers
While we're at it, if I may make a request to any frater that own Indomitus, I would like to see a comparison between the Skorpekh Destroyers and a reference model, be it a Primaris, a Chaos Marine, a Skitarii or anything else they may have available. I've got a bit of an idea brewing but I cannot find any proper pictures of them next to anything else to see if their scale is adequate. Robbienw
Now try comparing with a sister from the normal squad set who is in a more upright pose. Or the Amalia Novena model (off her scenic base). Sisters are very tall  Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/365678-typical-with-a-new-releasehows-the-scale/#findComment-5578182 Share on other sites

Or the Amalia Novena model (off her scenic base). Sisters are very tall  I think that's probably true, especially considering the source, but are they far taller than AdMech? They have long legs, but as long as they are not the same size as Primaris, or Custodes, I'm not too upset. Halandaar
While we're at it, if I may make a request to any frater that own Indomitus, I would like to see a comparison between the Skorpekh Destroyers and a reference model, be it a Primaris, a Chaos Marine, a Skitarii or anything else they may have available. For bonus points I included the up-rightest Sister I own (the Imagifier). She's not significantly taller than the Skitari (who's in a slightly hunched pose) and notably shorter than the Primaris Marine who's also not fully upright. Note that her base has a bit of cork to build up her height, so i placed all the other models on the same thickness of cork to even them up. Scribe
I'm 100% fine with that scale. Changed my mind 10 times on if i want to start a force, but such is my fate. :p Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/365678-typical-with-a-new-releasehows-the-scale/#findComment-5580004 Share on other sites
