9th edition seems to favor tough infantry melee or close ranged firepower. That makes me think ogryns. Ogryns make me think of being slow. Being slow makes me think they need a transport. That lead to this list.

Battalion (Spotter Details, Gunnery Experts)-
Yarrick (Warlord Trait: Tank Ace)
Tank Commander - Tank Ace (Slow and Purposeful), Demolisher Cannon, and lascannon
Infantry Squad x3
Chimera x3 - Heavy Flamer and Multilaser
Armored Sentinels x3 (one squad) - lascannon and HKM
Thunderer x2
Bullgryn x9 - Slabshields and Mauls
Ministorum Priest
Astropath x3

Super-Heavy Auxilia-
Gorgon Armored Transport - Gorgon Mortars and Tank Ace (Steadfast Leviathan)

Battle Plan-

Chimeras and infantry move onto objectives and try to be ignored as long as possible. The thunderers, tank commander, and sentinels are fire support. Bullgryn and characters load up onto the Gorgon and try to take the middle. A simple enough plan and I think it'd do all right.

Is that 2k? Damn, that's a lot of eggs in one basket. :D

It looks like it might be a lot of fun. In terms of scoring, I think you may be in danger of getting out obsec'd and running out of steam turn 3, 4.

If you want to go with that list I'd split the sentinels off into 3 units. You won't get the first turn punch, but you can sit them on your home objectives while pushing everything else forward.

Also maybe check on Yarrick. If he's like Creed he may have to take a WL-trait if he's your WL, which means you couldn't replace it for an ace trait. Entirely depends on the wording though.
