Best Cult for my list?

My list is basically all the 1k Sons models I like and then loads of them.

 

1x Exalted Sorcerer w/ Inferno Pistol and Staff

1x Sorcerer w/ Inferno Pistol and Staff

3x 10 Rubrics w/ Inferno Pistol, Staff, Soulreaper and 2 Warpflamers

3x 10 Scarab Occult Terminators w/ Staff, 1 Soulreaper and 1 Hellfyre Missile Rack

Comes out at 1999 points exactly

 

Sure, it's not top table material and I know that.

But for now, I'd like to get the most out of what I want to run, which is Dustbins and Scarabs

I would consider dropping a few Termies for more Sorcerers though if it turns out that I need more volume of casting.

 

That begs the question: what Cult should I use?

Duplicity and Sorcerous Facade seems like the obvious choice to me. It grants mobility to (one of) my units and... yeah, it does that.

 

I've looked through the Cults time and time again and apart from Magic (duh), nothing really sticks out. And even Magic seems to add more of what these dudes already do rather than make up for their weaknesses (like abysmal Movement).

 

Am I missing something here?

 

Also, I feel like the game plan for this list is rather straight forward - put units on objectives, try to get them to the mid field, hope they survive and go large on Psychic Ritual.

For that list I´d go cult of Duplicity for the facade spell or cult of time to potentially return some SoTs over the game.

 

IMO all the other cults are on the same Level, they offer something, but they are all minor buffs.

 

I Guess my favourite would be Duplicity since after "deepstrike" with the SoTs, your army is relatively slow/immobile.

Duplicity and Time will benefit that list more than any other. I would give Duplicity the edge since the WL trait really benefits your 3 rubric squads.
