The Giant Ark Mechanicum in the Forge of Mars series has internal teleporters for moving important people around and its an inconceivable marvel of technology and only vaguely practical because its both wildly high tech as well as huge.

Teleporting ammunition around a ship is fully insane as mentioned above.

Teleporters are super short range in ship combat terms too, like, knife fighting range.

Why not just teleport it into the enemy ship? Surely that would be safer!

was it ever done?

Not at a ship but the Black Templars have a short story in their Omnibus doing something similar at Armageddon 3.

Templars are going to destroy an orc facility. In their way they find a Dreadnaught thought lost in Armageddon 2.

At the end the Dreadnaught is alone in the base fighting the orcs. He is the teleported back / rescued on a ship while some sort of bomb / warhead Takes his place.

great post, in which novel can I find this episode? I would really like to read it

Correct name is "The Armageddon Omnibus".

I dont know if that short story was published elsewhere.

I see that in Battlefleet Gothic, Imperium ships are capable of micro warp jump during combat, since everythig in 40k is canon for authors, also the videogame is canon.

Someone can post the quote of Night Lord Novel where we can see a ship do a micro warp jump?

Also in Dark Creed there are particular uses of teleportation, even teleporting timed fusion warheads through shields and armor and in the detonation the fusion core of the ship also explodes.

Sir! We are reading… Throne! Sir! Massive readings of atomic warheads aboard the Sword of Truth! "
"Guilliman’s blood, they’ve teleported them across," said Ostorius, the color draining from his face.
"Is such a thing even possible?"
"Apparently so."
"Five hundred meters and closing!"
"Bring it down!" shouted the Chapter Master. Aquilius looked out of the observation window towards the battle-barge, looming large and coming in fast. Turrets began to fire upon it, but it was already too close… “Throne above,” he breathed.
Half torn apart from close-range cannon fire, but still coming, the Sword of Truth ploughed into the side of the Kronos star fort. The timed warheads that had been teleported across into her holds detonated and the battle-barge's plasma core exploded in a blinding corona.
