I like the idea of a helfrost gun rather than just getting gravguns. Helfrost rifle, helfrost cannon long fangs etc...

I would like if we could get combat squads for grey hunters too. It would up our tactical flexibility. I know we get em for our primaris troops, maybe they teach the old dogs some new tricks. Maybe not for blood claws though, they’re a little to wild for that kinda thing.

The doctrines are good too. We have always been midfield close quarters combat with a strong counterattack. The tactical doctrine fits that pretty well. Of course devastator helps out with long fangs but we seem to get close pretty quick. Maybe give us a chance to use the midfield first turn would be more appropriate.

Ragnar is a little too good for now, for his points you sort of have to take him. Hands down, no question. I feel like they almost have to nerf him. Make some of the other HQ choices enticing too. If you only get 3 and one has to be Ragnar you only get 2 more in a regular force org.

Bring Wolf guard biker back out of legends! That is total garbage. I would love to have a wolf guard/attack bike/swiftclaw/wolflord bike army again.

I’m sure I could think of some more, but that’s what I’ve got for wishlisting for now.

Yeah there really isn't a reason for wolf's not to have combat squads I'm not sure if they would include it for them or not.

Ragnar should go up to 140-150 points. I honestly believe they undercosted him because of how rough 8th edition was for wolves in general.

I'd really like for them to rethink the Saga system for warlord traits. They just never really felt right, and the payoff for some of them wasn't worth the trouble.

Right now, I feel like I'm in some kind of intense holding pattern on my Wolves - I've got all my Tacticus armored squads sorted out and bits'd apart in baggies with labels - waiting to see if we get more information on where it is all going tomorrow. I know we won't get actual rules details, load outs, etc., but I'm really hoping for (and setting myself up for disappointment on) word on the Supplements, and maybe even how those will interact with the main Codex.

In the meantime, I continue to wait for my order from Greenstuff World to arrive (to greenstuff copy some bits for breastplates, helms, etc.), ForgeWorld to replenish the Grey Slayer kits so I can put in my first ever FW order, and build and prime other things in anticipation of continued waiting in case the Supplement isn't released until December/first quarter 2021. Wolves need something to fight after all (and I really need to get my Necromunda gang done anyway)!

Extra shame is the draft/abandoned warlord traits had a big fluffy stormer

Plus one attack on the charge for Wulfen, beast, and cav within 6'of Warlord and they autopass morale

Most of my army is more legacy for SW, I don't know if I really plan to ever go to Primaris with them. I don't think I will anytime soon I think.

But what we know of the classic marines going up to 2w has definitely motivated me to finish what I have so I can just sit back and enjoy playing with it throughout the edition.

I would love to see assault ramps come back in some way for Land Raiders. I am working on a LR Crusader, and it'd be quite great to get that in close and have some fun with blood claws or something.

Speaking of Land Raiders, it’s not Space Wolf specific, but I would love for Land Raiders to get a boost to durability. Even a 5++ would help, but they need something. I have like 4 of them that haven’t seen the tabletop in ages.

For the Rout specifically, I would like to see Thunderwolf Cavalry get some love. They are currently simply not worth their points (IMHO). An extra wound would be a nice start. Drop the whole chompy teeth rule and just give the rider extra attacks - that way if I want all my attacks to be S5 I can give them S5 weapons, but if I want to take down titans I don’t have to worry about half of my attacks being totally freaking useless. That’s all I want. I don’t think it’s over the top. I have absolutely no hope we’ll get it though...

Oh-ho … Space Wolves will get a Codex SupplementI haven't heard if they explain what the change of the title means, but the definitely mentioned, that the Wolves will get all of the new Unit, which is reasonable for a Supplement …

The best bit of the stream was both confirmation that we get our supplement this year, and the gentle ribbing of Adam Troke and his Dark Angels when the co-host commented "they have a history of being late for big events."

White Dwarf - Doesn't specify blue - just says "hue of a midwinter hurricane". Could have some blue in it, but could easily just be a dark, dark grey. Depends on what part of the hurricane you are looking at.

Those Reivers aren't that color, IMO - too light.

I'm loving this preview.

Makes me wonder what it'd take for all C:SM ranges to get their supplement of unique cool stuff, and toss in the Traitor lads apparently because they did just show Death Guard.

So, all 8th 2nd Codex Supplements, and then the four currently, SW, DA, BA, DW, and then the unique to each goes into the say 2nd 9th SM Codex, which everyone of the supp's gain full access to inside and in addition to itself.

So, UM's? C:SM and their own book, chock full with either replacement or upgrades further helping the units they first pioneered, like better Company Champion and Chapter Champion, better Chapter Command and Company Command, the cutting edge within the UM's and then their own unique units.

And, do the same across all the SM book supp's. That'd be frickin' cool to me!

My take aways:

Speeders are cool looking probably will add a couple to my forces.

Heavy intercessors, probably just 1 unit for me because I like the look, but tactically redundant near as I can tell.

Assault intercessors get Sargeant weapons, Woot!

And best of all, supplement drops before years end.

All in all I'm happy. Though I qill say I am a bit miffed that I never got to play with saga of the beast and at this rate I assume it was a bit of a bad purchase lol.
