I am wanting to make a CSM list that uses a bloodthrister warlord bomb, im struggling to find anything that works well along side this that is good at primary objectives and secondary objectives... I love bloodthirsters and really wish to make this work, so any tips or army lists would be very helpful.
Thank You <3

Hmm.....You might have to grab a battalion with a decent amount of cultists/marines for objective holding in your deployment zone.

The bloodthirster I would almost use as a fire and forget missile while the bloodletter bomb I would aim to grab an occupied objective.

The rest of the list tailor to your liking with the idea of unit elimination in mind and sculpt your secondaries around this.

You aren't going to win through attrition, but instead having so many threats on the board that your opponent has no choice but to ignore your objective holders. It's how I wound up winning my past few games.

Hopefully I've been some help.

Can you give us more info on the Legion you'd like to play? Also, are you married to the WOK Thirster, or will any Thirster do?

I play a lot of Khorne and should be able to give some advice once I better understand what you're interested in.

You have a lovely 500 point sledgehammer there. For the rest of the list perhaps backfield support, 'hold the line' units? Something to consolidate the center after the Daemons have rampage through.

Defilers for a 'big baddie monster mash' theme?

Nurgle Daemons for a daemon circus theme?

...or just more Bloodthirsters.

Assuming you are interested in running mono-Khorne I'd run a traditional World Eaters Berserker list with them at 2000 points (Berserkers in Rhinos and Daemon Engines). If you are playing something closer to 1000 points I'd run a Daemon Engine and some bolter bros focus on surviving turn one and scoring an objective or two if able.

Bloodletter bombs are potent, I've seen them wipe out 50% or more of a gunline on the charge (be sure to bring the banner that gives you a third dice for the charge roll) and then eat a turn of shooting before fighting again thanks to the high number of bodies and invulnerable saves. It also can be brought to a screeching halt by something that isn't afraid of strength 5, even with the high AP weaponry (in fact, I had a game of 9th where my Bloodletter Bomb nearly did a full board wipe before breaking on the shield of a toughness 6 gravis captain with a FNP despite starting the fight at around 20 strong and then losing the game). I have no experience with Bloodthirsters, but you inspire me with your disregard for the conventional wisdom on them.

Building around Khorne Daemons is hard.

I really liked Bloodletter Bombs in 8th ed until Primaris Marines got the ability to deny deepstrike within 12" on a couple units. What I realized is they need to be complimented by a second threat.

You might want to consider a second Bloodletter unit to take some heat off the first.

For the CSM side, Word Bearers Master of Possession, Dark Apostle and Possessed can make for a pretty potent melee build.

Obliterators never hurt.
