Deer or stag style is preferable to moose or other animals. I'd like some wilder antlers not manufactured ones, so like the ones off vintage warriors of chaos or slambo aren't an option. Fantasy models aren't my strong suit to scavenger from but I didn't see anything in the sylvaneth range. I don't know about vintage wood elves though or lotr. Their models are quite large and occasionally feature antlers that would be of sufficient size for marines. They have models that range from quite a bit smaller to quite a bit larger, as well as chariots and the like. Might be hard to source now, though, but the old knight set used to give you 2x the heads you needed to make the different kinds of knights. Wild riders might have what you're looking for with a bit of careful cutting. Fajita Fan Posted August 28, 2020 Share Posted August 28, 2020 The cheapest option without having to buy a box of models you won’t use is the head of the Branchwitch Wood Elves special character in a clam pack. What’s neat is that they’re separate from her head so there’s very little trimming, I used her antlers on a Titanicus Cerastus lancer and it looks good. I’m on mobile so I can’t post from my gallery.
