How to customise your own Judiciar... Ideas

Hey Guys

 

I'm planing to use a Judiciar (or two :O ) for an army I'm building but since I did not got the limited edition starter set, I have to costumise my own, and would like you hear how you have done it or what kind of ideas you have...Anything would be appreciated. Also what type of base is he standing on? 20 or a 25 mm base?

I believe he's on a 40mm base, but it might be a 32mm (or even a 50mm). Don't believe 25mm is in use for any Marines any more, and I don't recall Marines ever using a 20mm base.

 

You're really going to have just get bits together you think look great - there's not going to be a right or wrong answer on a custom Judicar as long as he's using the right weapons.

 

I would suggest taking a look at some of the AoS bits for things like hourglasses, and the original Primaris Chaplain has the rib structure chest armor and the curvy shin plating. Don't think any of the Marine helms have (or ever should have had) the veil portion, so if you want that, you might need to get out your preferred sculpting material. A massive sword trimmed to have a blunt tip should round him out (although I personally wouldn't consider this a requirement).

 

My bigger question is how are you going to play him in a game without having the actual rules for him from the Codex?

So far I have considered making him from a Ko'sarro Khan and chance some bit on him... I really like the thing that he is holding a head high :)

Ii is true that I don't have the rules, but I have BattleScribe Roster which specifiy his points and abilities...

Having built the Judiciar, he's on a 40mm base (like all Astartes characters are)

Tossing up making one to represent a Primaris Company/Chapter Champion, given we don't have one of those yet.
