Hello brothers and some sisters of the watch. The title says it all, I need some tips and tricks for Deathwatch in this new edition. Havent had time to play a match last months but looking to improve my army.

At this moment I already have a big deathwatch army with a lot of veterans as troops and 1 squad of intercessors. Also 1 squad of hellblasters and the new indominus space marines, 2 corvus blackstars, LRC, a landraider achilles and a fire raptor gunship.

As elites I got 2 squads of terminators and fast attack is 2 squads of jump pack veterans. I also got all 4 the assasins and some inquistors

In november I have a big tounament of 3 days with players from all over the world.

Planning to buy some new units, but not sure what units.

Can you give me some advice, tips and so on waht to buy, or what kind of list I can make.

Last question, where can I find the rules of the indominus units.

Indomitus units rules can be found in the Edge of Silence rules booklet included in Indomitus.

If the tournament is in November, you'll have a new book in October, so any list building advice we can give will be outdated by the time the book drops and the tournament happens as what might be good now will be obsolete within 6 weeks.

Veterans might be good, but we don't know.
Primaris might be good, but we don't know.
We might have new units galore, but we don't know.

My advice? Just play games with whatever and get used to the game in general, because any "if you do ABC you will win" suggestions have an extremely short shelf life right now.

From what we know based on current points and allowances, you have a pretty good selection of units. Qui-Gon is right in regards to waiting on purchasing new models until we get the codex in October, especially for a tournament. Hopefully we will get a better preview starting next week since they announced on the community site about new previews and releases.

From my experience, another squad of intercessors would serve you well (stalkers are my preferred). Inceptors are a neat choice right now as well considering they picked up the blast rule on their plasma guns. I wouldn't go huge into big vehicles (repulsors, etc.) as they are a bit costly. If you have a lot of vets, maybe a razorback would be handy. Venerable dreads have been good choices if you don't have any kill teams kitted out for anti-armor (missile launcher). The Eradicators will serve you well from a tournament perspective but you'll have to work out delivery of them. I enjoy my drop pod so that is another tool to test out as well.

Hopefully that helps with the hobby urge to build and paint, but definitely try to wait until the codex drops or gets previewed... and then ask the question here again :)

A good tactic with the way games play with current match play missions, is to take Intercessor squads 5 intercessors and 5 aggressors. Combat squad them.

Sometimes I sub an Aggressor for a Reiver

The biggest advantage is that youre freeing up elite slots which is a very nice and a unique ability for DW.

Same thing for Terminators and Vets

With vanguard vets gaining 1 wound it looks like we'll be taking less smash captains and take outrider Chaplains for reliable 1st turn buffs for high mobility units.

Other than those things which I've tested I am not sure what else may be good

One unit that currently is a great bargain we can take is the Land Speeder Tempest. The price point ends up fitting in nice in a lot of lists where I keep having 40 to 60 points extra...so I swap an aggressor or 2 for a reiver and take the land speeder that has 36 in range heavy 2d3 shots str6 ap-3(-4 turn 1) 2 damage...
