The Good, The Bad, The Aeldari - Event now closed

Our people are under threat of annihilation from all fronts; the Webway is assailed, Commorragh is under siege and even those in Realspace are hounded. Even with the creation of a new God we still decline but never have we fought harder than with now, with our backs against the wall we shall continue to push on.

With 9th edition upon us, this would make a good opportunity to get an event going for the Aeldari. Whether you have an army you’re working on, a backlog to get through or just want to paint one model, we’d love to have you.

The Rules are nice and simple;

• Make a pledge to paint one model/unit between 12th September and 14th November.
• You may make a vow that is one model from a unit that would otherwise be more than one, ie: One Kabalite warrior. You may make multiple vows as long as you have completed the last vow
• A starting picture is required. Any model/unit that is anywhere from: New in box to sprayed/undercoated is absolutely fine.
• A finished picture is also required, this MUST be completed to your declared standards

An example vow would be:

I, Trawlingcleaner, vow to complete 1 unit of 5 Howling Banshees before November 14th

There’s no specific narrative to this event but if you’re in a Crusade or just want to include it, fluff is more than welcome alongside finished/ in progress models.

Ooh, not sure as yet. I'm ploughing through an army from the masque of the soaring spite as well as a Mymeara craftworld army. I think I'll do a squad of something whatever I pick.

I’ll have to get some Drukhari I think if I do this. Sold all my unbuilt quins as they were getting in the way. Fancy starting a drukhari kill team so a perfect excuse I reckon.

I might be up for this; I haven’t painted any elder since about 6th edition (or maybe 7th, I can’t remember).

 

Not sure what I have around to paint, but I’ll find something. With the new Brass spray I have been contemplating redoing my Wraithconstructs as animated statues, so this might be a good test run to see if can a scheme to work.

I'm actually in an Eldar mood at the moment, just kitbashed a farseer from a bonesinger, and started building my crimson hunter, so this comes at the perfect time :)
