Cris R
Hi Folks, does anyone know of any alternatives to the Heresy Trading Facebook group for putting up requests for 30k bits and models? I've put up a few want to buy posts for bits but I never get responses because they disappear into the Warp as other people keep publishing their posts in the group. Let me know if any ideas come to mind. Thanks! MegaVolt87
Yeah, if the WTB posts are the majority in such a trade group you aren't saving any money or convenience by using it. High demand + Low supply= higher prices. You would be better off ordering direct from forgeworld and putting up the excess in such a group in WTS posts instead from you. A mate does similar with aftermarket car parts by joining such groups to offload and fund the next new hotness. m0nolith
There's actually a lot of groups on facebook, I can PM you some if you want. A lot of them are 40k and 30k trade groups, so as long as you don't mind cutting through the clutter of 40k, you can find a lot of great deals on there. Ebay is a good spot too. But for bits, your best bet is eggheadminiatures.com. Its the only FW bits seller that I can be certain is selling real FW bits. Egghead is legit and has reasonable shipping rates to the U.S. But definitely send me a message with your recommendations, that would be helpful. Mogsam
You have to search by most recent rather than most active on the heresy trading page. That said, I am after Mark iv marines and they go within minutes when they do appear! That said, I am after Mark iv marines and they go within minutes when they do appear! My problem is that my look to buy posts disappear into the deluge of other posts and never get responses, which is why I’m looking for other venues to post requests for bits. Your suggestion is good for finding look to sell posts though, so I'll keep that in mind. Good luck getting the Mark IVs, I'm finally cracking open my Calth box for my Blood Angels force.
