White Base Paint (Ceramite White replacement)

The great bell tolls for my Ceramite White pot, and unfortunately someone forgot what white means when they made the replacement Corax White  I use it quite a bit across armies to get a white going over any colour and it save me a lot of time, and I get decent results with it - such that I didn't replace my layer white when that died ages ago...

Trying to find another range that has a base/foundation white hasn't got very far as all I get back are primers and the like which isn't quite what I'm looking for, or I'm not sure if it is.

Does anyone know of a white that can achieve the same coverage?

Formula P3 Morrow White or Coat D'Arms White are both pretty nice to work with (they should be "basically the same" as they're made by the same manufacturer), as is Vallejo Game Colour Arctic White (Model Colour White should also be decent).

Thanks all  I did try searches on "foundation" but didn't get anywhere  Comes up when you add "Vallejo" though :tongue.: It's a core paint for my CSM and nids, but now I think about it I use it across all my armies somewhere so it's more important than I thought...

Thanks very much for posting this thread. I got a pot of Corax Grey White recently when the last of my ceramite white gave up the ghost and I actually thought I had got a duff pot. I will give the Vallejo Foundation White a try.

FYI, Vallejo 70.919 is known as "Cold White" as well as "Foundation White" (Vallejo occasionally rename their colours).

Thanks for this. I thought my corax white was bad for being grey as well.

Been using FW white ink, but it's not really a paint. Will look at getting the vallejo paint, although I think I have an s75 white laying around that I may investigate.

To update this I have my Foundation/Cold White now (former on site and delivery note, latter on the pot :P ) and tried it out quick, I think it maybe doesn't quite cover as well but near enough :)
