Lord Nord in Gravis Armour
So I finally had a chance to read this short story that was included with the special edition of Indomitus. My question after reading it, though... Shouldn't the civilians in the story be all "stilled" and lethargic? They seem to be their normal hardworking selves throughout the story. Yet I thought everyone on the planet was feeling the stilling effect and only the lords and govnahs up on the orbital were largely free of its effects. Am I missing something? I'd rather not wade through the back half of Indomitus again. Tyriks
Haven't read the short story, but yes everyone on the planet should be dazed. However they did say that before the humans were killed many continued to go through the motions of their lives, including performing their jobs. But they shouldn't be "hardworking" even if they are going through the motions.
