My warlord is actually a Chaos Knight, but the Bulk of my army will be Night Lords, so I thought this would be the more appropriate place.

The idea is to hold the Obliterators in reserve, use the troops and Spawn to secure the deployment zone and/or back objective(s). The Warlord will move to center to perform Psychic Ritual. The other Autocannon Wardog will step on an objective and fire from there. Everyone else will rush forward and slam into Melee as soon as possible, shooting along the way where possible. Venoms will provide character protection for DPs and so will be enhanced by defensive powers the melee Wardog will add further protection. Obliterators drop later and help survivors destroy enemies and/or take objectives. Depending on how things go, the other units will shift as needed.

For my secondaries, I'm going to take Psychic Ritual, Engage on All Fronts, and the third will be dependent on the battle.

Through other 2,000 point games I've played, I've found that 1 or two of my big models will die by turn 1, but I'm confident in the damage the remaining ones will do. Similarly, I've found Psychic Ritual has been an easy source of VP and the threat saturation of my army is likely to leave the worlord pretty safe and the Vow of Dominance should help further protect it.

The last piece I'm having trouble with is which Household and Warlord Traits to use. I feel like the Warlord should be safe doing the ritual, but if not it will really hinder things. So, the question becomes for this set up, do I want to add offensive power to the Knights or Defensive? Any recommendations would be appreciated. I'm also considering dropping the relic on the Lord Discordant to gain 2CP back. Advance and Charge is great on a Lord Discordant and he has no protection from Lookout Sir, so slamming him into melee ASAP will help offset threat to him. Thoughts on this would also be appreciated as with the rest of the army.
