MaliGn Posted September 25, 2020 Share Posted September 25, 2020 I'm building my heldrake in sub-assemblies (obviously) and my elaborate basing scheme has demanded some repositioning, despite my best efforts it transpires that there is a much bigger gap between body and leg joint than anticipated and it will need some filling, I've already painted the body and legs. I'm looking for advice on filling the gap now that it's already painted. Fajita Fan Posted September 25, 2020 Share Posted September 25, 2020 I'm looking at the pin in the joint and I almost want to say you're better off using plastic tubing from the ball along the pin into the joint rather than a big ol' ball of greenstuff. You could scrape off some paint, use plastic glue to build the joint, and use brush on primer to repaint. It's a cool paint scheme and repose, be careful! Ooh, good shout, I appear to have some appropriate plastic tubing and a plan is forming to use it to create an additional plating for the join... I was pretty sure it all fit before I started painting...
