I haven't done it personally, but from looking at the assembly guide, I would probably do it by magnetizing the top and bottom pieces of the turret to each other. That way, I could open the whole thing up and swap in and out the weapon. The protruding part of the weapons that go inside the turret look like they should hold in place when the whole thing is sealed. If not, you could put magnets inside the turret then embed magnets where the protruding portion was. The first method would need less magnets, but the second would make for a simpler swap.

Edit:

Here's a youtube video of someone magnetizing the options using bolts in part. I never would have thought of that.

I've done it on all three of my Predators. It wasn't hard, and helps that the weapons are mounted in the turret in such a way that they can pivot up and down, so you can just reuse those holes for the magnets.

I used 3mm x 1mm magnets, if that helps.

I ended up taking your advice, Cheex, and have now magnetized my turret.

Think I may need to thicken my strip on plasticard - my barrels aren't drooping now, but they may with time.

Thanks for the help, everyone.
