You know when a colour scheme just grabs you? So simple, Blue and Gold yet neither Ultramarine nor Thousand Sons.

So I think I'll make them my pet project for this edition.

Their brief description says they are heroic, tenacious with an all consuming hatred of chaos.

I thought first of all to use Crimson Fists tactics to represent their tenacity, then thought about Black Templars to represent their hatred, before realising neither can be used as they aren't on the Inheritors of the Primarch list.

Then I figure they have an all consuming hatred of chaos. Doesn't mean they are slavering maniacs the rest of the time, so Preferred Enemy Heretic Astartes will do, even if it is entirely redundant against most armies...

So that's all consuming hatred of chaos taken care of, all that's left is either Tenacity or Heroism.

Any ideas?

Tenacity or Heroism represented in Chapter Tactics? Well, I think you've some choices:

  1. Born Heroes: Add +1 to hit on the charge
  2. Hungry for Battle: +1" to the advance or charge roll
  3. Indomitable: Your units auto-pass combat attrition
  4. Stalwart: When rolling for wounds against your models, natural rolls of 1 or 2 always fail, regardless of any modifiers or abilities the attacking unit might have
  5. Warded: 5+ Feel no Pain versus mortal wounds only

Of those, I'd honestly say Born Heroes, Hungry for Battle or Stalwart would best represent that.
