.Torch.
Something I'm sure has a multitude of solutions that I am over looking. I am currently looking for ways to magnetise my Custodes bikes onto their flying bases. So far all the magnets I have tried have left the models limping to one side or rotating far to easily. The problem being that the flying stands are fairly slim and the small magnets are just not cutting it. Has anyone got any suggestions for a set of small magnets that will hold the models securely in place in the flying stands? Thanks in advance, .Torch. duz_
The magnet baron has some iptions https://themagnetbaron.com/ Or you could try finding your own rods and getting a ball and socket magnet set? I personally put some sprue inside the bike mount and drilled a hole that a paper clip and fit through and pinned that to the stand They're not perfectly straight but gives it a dynamic look Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/367054-magnetising-bikes/#findComment-5618084 Share on other sites
happyslugger
I can't remember the sizes I used on my bikes, will have a look later and post them here for you. I stuck one underneath the bike and with some slicing and green stuff I secured one to the top of the stand. They may have been 1mm X 6mm ones.
