For anyone that wants to get this thing be prepared for an adventure. Its a huge and detailed model. If you've put together some of the new necrons you'll run into those same bad designed Torsos/arm sockets. The platform is actually designed well for making into sub assemblies.

I have a lot of experience building models, gundams and scale wood ships. So I can go pretty fast. But this thing took me about a combined time of 4 hours to build and I did it into sub assemblies that for someone with an airbrush could easily have access to spray through the majority of the steps. I couldn't find a guide online so ill post what I did and hopefully this may helps.

Its basically 10 normal sized models and 2 medium sized vehicles of surface to paint.

If you have any questions feel free to ask.

Side note- depending on your paint scheme and airbrush skill you could seperate the 'fins' on the large sub assemblies

My goodness, so many parts. Looks like a nice month long project for me lol.

Edit: Forgot to say thank you for putting those photos up. Can’t wait to see your completed piece.

Yeah, they made some strange decisions in how he goes together. I was really baffled by some elements, particularly things that need to line up carefully with nothing serving to actually line them up

I built 2 full sets of the Indomitus. I got this guy and a new Lokhust. I want to throat punch the guy who engineered these new guys lol. At least with the push fit you can press together and do a tiny bit of glue after you got it together. I ordered 2 of the hex marks and I'm already thinking Eff that lol

Thanks for posting the information will be valuable down the road I'm sure

* A side note on the Silent King -  Duncan has done a Complete painting video on the Silent Patriarch   So anyone that needs painting help on him head on over to Duncan's site and join up (he's probably one of the only hobby related site's that i'm happy to Patreon to..)

Awesome feedback guys! I have mine coming through the mail tomorrow though I won't be putting it together until I have done the rest of my 78 models still on their sprues

One question is, where are the tricky parts when putting the model together? Is it possible to be precise on the details?

theres no real tricks. But make sure when you are on quote one the 3 dudes to do their sub assemblies first. Then before applying glue make a test fit. Its easy to glue in an arm to the chest or back torso section and it is slightly positioned wrong so that when you move to the next step it won't face up 100%. Plus these guys are mostly too small to pin together sections that are weak Edited by Debauchery101

Yeah I had a lot of trouble with the Hexmark. I got two and the second one went a lot better but I had to pin the first one to get his torso to stick to his legs and I think I mismatched some of the cables and ports on his back orb
