Azekai
Hello all, with marines becoming hard to kill, especially units like heavy intercessors, blade guard or (shudder) stormshield terminators, the Red Terror seems like a fun option to use. With multi-wounds and some very intimidating invuln saves, eating them in one go seems appealing. Assuming the Red Terror can gulp down even a couple such elite enemies, it seems like a reasonably good trade. Note that this isn't great against the increasingly tough marine characters, who have absurd numbers of wounds for infantry models; the swallow roll is pretty unreliable against models with 5-6 wounds. librisrouge 1 Back to top Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/367184-red-terror-snacking-on-marines/ Share on other sites
WarriorFish
It's worth consideration, but I think the main problem will be that it'd be telegraphed. I don't think it's a deal breaker though as omniscient observers there's a fair amount of that anyway, and there should be enough targets to make it useful. It may be that the threat of it is worth as much as the act - or perhaps more - which could offer some tactical options especially against smaller sized units that are more vulnerable? Xenith
Maybe with Behemoth to reroll charges off the deepstrike to pick off some objective holders at the rear?
