Raziel-TX
Greetings all, Can anyone give me a scale comparison of the forge world cenobium with a regular primaris Marine? Thanks in advance. Raziel-TX
Dang. That was fast! Haha. Thanks so much! So initial take is that they won’t make for good primaris scaled terminators candidates. WrathOfTheLion
Probably not. They are scaled quite tall, but they are still scaled for Horus Heresy. I think they are slowly bumping that up to the new CSM scale, but they can't do it too much unless they redo a lot of the core line. Raziel-TX
It’s too bad because they seem like really nice models. Very characterful. On a side note, I got to spend 3 years down in SC. Beautiful state you live in. Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/367218-cenobium-scale/#findComment-5621905 Share on other sites
WrathOfTheLion
They are nice models, I haven't painted mine up, but I need to for my HH force. Yes it is, I spend a lot of time out on the coastal islands and it's quite beautiful. Jings
Ehh bit of sneaky plasticard here and there should get them bumped up to size. Close as we're probably gonna get until we get Primaris Terminatoros Interlatin models. eternal_warrior12
Wrath, your 50/50 paint job is on point! I’d say it’s inspiring but I’m not ever going to try it. WrathOfTheLion
Thanks! It's not too hard, really just need to paint the head and arm/gun separate. I did the backpack separate as well. Once you get the initial line down the middle, it's smooth sailing from there. I made sure to undercoat the green part with black, a mix of FW black ink and model color black to darken it down in one coat. I just made sure to draw smaller lines between reference points, such as between the two rivets on the circle on the back of the backpack, etc. This was actually the first model/squad I did it on, so I think it turned out pretty good. I was originally just going to do it just to have a squad of Angels of Redemption, but I think I'm going to bring them up at least to around 1000 points now to have a force on the table. eternal_warrior12
Gotta do at least 1,000 pts. I’m eagerly awaiting the Heavy Infantry release to do my next force of Dark Angels.
