Pretty sure that he wouldn't go traitor. They're all about the Unity.

I still think we'll see them go out in a blaze of glory vs the Emperor's Children protecting the citizens of Terra, or maybe board the Vengeful Spirit with Big E for an epic last battle.

Dan adnett confirmed arik will make a appearance at some point in the seige of terra books. Hopefully he get a novella he such a cool character.
