My codex should be here within a couple days and I wanted to have models ready for some games this weekend. I have access to most of the rules and seem to have a decent idea but mostly I just have indomitus built. I prefer mobile lists but I can play any style but my lack of experience with the new stuff hasn't connected all the dots for combos and synergies yet.

Here's what I got

Silent king

2 lords

2 skorpekh lords

1 cryptek

2 plasmancers

6 wardens(was thinking to proxy as immortals)

40 gauss warriors

10 reaper warriors

12 scarabs(3 more unbuilt)

1 necron ghost/doomsday ark

1 lokhust hvy destroyer

6 skorpekh destroyers

2 hexmarks

1 doomstalker

1 reanimator

Unbuilt

6 wraiths

6 tomb blades

1 triarch stalker

I have delayed building the last 3 options because I'm not sure what options to run them with as well as if its worth magnetizing all options

The ophydians look great on paper. I may proxy the wraiths for now which aint a problem with my club

Any help would be great thanks

Wraiths I think are just better than Ophydians yet the same points. If I had 6 I'd run basic claws and transdimensional beamers. They may only be S4 but can drop a Gravis marine with a single shot.

I'd happily buy your wraiths and tomb blades if you can't decide what to do with them

Tomb Blades with particle weapons is something I'm very interested in. Although 18", the nerf to Tesla has made these very tempting to play. With 6 shots, an extra strength to Tesla/Gauss, and 5pts cheaper, this could be a unit that's great at scoring secondaries such as Engage All Fronts

Oh man, your units are kind of all over the place.

Can you turn your reanimator into a doomstalker?

If so i would recommend doing that.

If you can get 3 doomstalkers then i would recommend doing that, and having your cryptek be a technomancer, giving them +1 to hit

2 units of 20 gauss warriors is good

try and get the other unit to 20 as well, 40 S5 AP-2 shots is pretty decent

Plasmancers are pretty useless, maybe proxy them as chronomancers?

5 Skorpek destroyers, with 5 wraiths is good. Dont go above 5 or blast becomes a thing.

Skorphek Lords are cool, would take both of them

The silent king is cool, but you really need to build around him, and that involves taking 2 units of 10 preatorians.

Unfortunatly your paying for buffs for units that are not really affected by it, or can be done cheaper.

The DDA and doomstalkers are super cool, but really you need 3 of them to offset their randomness

And if you are taking doomstalkers then you are taking a technomancer, which means you dont want DDA. You really want to be taking one or the other.

Ghost arks are ok, provided they remain alive all game and can bring D3 models back then they actually make their points back...while putting out a decent ammount of fire power

Would only take 1 though.

Scarabs are amazing,

As for list, unsure on points but would be something like

HQ

Skorpek Lord

Skorpek Lord

Technomancer (+1 to hit, & cant be targeted unless closest)

Chronomancer (Veil and S8 Gun, give the 5++ to your destroyers before teleporting away with 20 warriros)

Troops

20 warriors

20 warriors

20 warriors

Transport

Ghost Ark

Elites

5 Skorpek Destroyers

Fast Attack

5 Wraiths

5 Scarabs

5 Scarabs

Heavy Support

Doomstalker

Doomstalker

Doomstalker (Proxy your reaminator if you have too)

I would not be in a hurry to trash a Reanimator just because they aren't great right now. I figure it's good odds they get a decent point cut when the next Chapter Approved drops. No need to wreck models chasing a fleeting meta.

GW hates to acknowledge huge mistakes though. It is functionally flawed, not just overpriced.

The Reanimator needs to drop half its current points. Likely it will lose like 10-20% next update.

Most likely true. But I don't see value in the poor Doomstalker conversions I've seen taking place on the internet. I've been in the hobby long enough to come to regret my conversions from a poor units to the current flavor of the month. The meta moves too fast to chase it.

I hope not

I don’t think the doom stalker is in anyway broken or over costed.

The reason people are taking 3 is because of the near mandatory investment of a technomancer.

I don’t think reaper warriors are over coated as well. I would only run 1 unit, and even then, only is using veil of darkness.

I expect super object secured to be nerfed into nothingness

I would suggest anyone going to a tournament with trying to use converted Reanimators as doomstalkers to check ahead if its cool. The doom stalker is almost 3 inches taller and has a larger base.

I had no idea it had a huge size difference and I made one myself. the TOs around here said it has to be as big or bigger and using the bigger base
