Captain Idaho
Since Marines get so many supplements that expand their variance and enhance the fun factor, let's be hopelessly optimistic and wish list our Supplement preferences for Necrons! Come on, it'll be fun. Personally, a Destroyer Cult supplement would be cool. I'd enjoy that, with perhaps some new variant characters and even new units. Perhaps Warriors or Immortal variants to fit theme? Another big one for me that I know we'll never see is a C'tan themed supplement. One where a faction of Necrons have been subverted an imprisoned C'tan, perhaps due to a flawed Tesseract Vault. Again, new units would be needed that perhaps lent towards the cosmic insanity and horror of such an event, with new tech that is otherworldly. I'm thinking Pariahs would return here. Some variants of them too. What sort of ideas do folk have flying around their heads regarding this subject? caladancid 1 Back to top Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/367300-supplements-wed-like-to-see/ Share on other sites
Miek
Flayed ones as a core unit would be very interesting. Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/367300-supplements-wed-like-to-see/#findComment-5623824 Share on other sites
caladancid
You know I am really surprised that Pariahs did not make a combeack. Maybe because the Lychguard/Praetorians took the sculpt design (basically)? I don't know what new Pariahs would look like. Maybe faceless entirely? I think maybe entirely androgenous humanoids with no facial features could be cool. Captain Idaho
I'd prefer them in a different way. Twisted and loping, maybe elongated limbs. Hell, even perhaps featureless shadowed androids that emphasise the horrible empty and soulless nature of them. *** Certainly a Flayed One kingdom could be cool. Again, the horror aspect of lots of twisting blades on their android bodies is a necessity. Larger support units might be hard to justify regarding vehicles but would work brilliantly with more Canoptek monstrosities. caladancid 1 Back to top Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/367300-supplements-wed-like-to-see/#findComment-5623829 Share on other sites

The hard part would then be what weapons? Flayed ones have the market cornered on blade fingers of doom, and their old scythes have been stolen. Perhaps terminator style arms turning into spikes, with a energy blast weapon that is described as soul crushing? Marshal Loss
A C'tan/Oldcron themed supplement should be at the top of the list imo. They've already leaned back heavily into the eldritch horror aesthetic with the new models, giving us an ability to represent a dynasty under the control of the C'tan would be insanely cool and an auto-purchase for me. Yeah not sure on the aesthetic exactly but I like to think the model designers could do something. Blade arms is cool. Perhaps gun arms too, firing pure Pariah juice. Daimyo-Phaeron Lenoch
I want a canoptek supplement. Anything with the Canoptek keyword can be taken as troops And/or core. I really, really like the idea of nothing but a chittering horde of canoptek monsters swamping the enemy. And then self-replicating. I like the idea of a necron grey goo scenario. There is loads of opportunity to make a supplement representing canoptek, especially if they are famed to be the first wave to defend a tomb. I want all the robot bugs! backed by forge world ones and the seraptek! Lord knows we have enough units available to us now. We could use a command bug or make tomb spyders an HQ. Seeing as that was their primary role as directors of the other bugs. spyders doomstalker stalker(fw) acanthrites(fw) seraptke(fw) sentinal(fw) pylons(could still be part of the list as defensive weapons) reanimator scarabs wraiths Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/367300-supplements-wed-like-to-see/#findComment-5624092 Share on other sites
