Who all is thinking of using them?

I bought the box when I first started DW at the beginning of 8th, rarely ever using them as the kits each used was not optimal, I even converted the Blood Angel guy to have a storm shield over a hand flamer.

They get some nice tricks, but a lack of and invul save, besides the 5++ for the terminator is a hard thing to accept.

I figure I'm going to give them a try, though it sucks to have a Watch Sgt that has no ccw.

If anyone has ideas for their use, it'd be great to share.

I'll use them because I have them. You could also cast Psychic Fortress if you have a Librarian devoted to that discipline.

Not at all. That unit is so badly organized that it isn't worth the points, PL, unique gear, or free Aquila specialism.

This unit is mostly good for narrative play or crusades. They used to all have individual profiles. Most of mine have been turned into characters for other armies. I find it odd they are somehow expert anti aircraft Marines but have super short range weaponry

 

Model wise the kit is actually a pretty good deal if you want need some characters and some flavor to your veterans. Its currently sold out...but 65 bucks for 11 models. Chaplain, librarian, 1 terminator, biker, 2 vanguards and 4 vets.

I wish I never traded away my white scars biker. I want to put him on an outrider bike
