Brother Ramael
Hello fellow Astartes, I have a question about the Redemptor dread, specificaly about the front hatch that hides the sarcofagus. Is it possible to build it so that it remains mobile or it must be glued in place in a specific position? I'd like to know before getting one. Thanks;) Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/367525-of-redemptors-and-hatches/ Share on other sites
Brother Lame
The Redemptor's front hatch comes in two parts, the lower part is on a hinge that you'll need to be careful not to glue in place during building. The top half just has two little circular plastic tabs that fits closely into narrow slots on each side of the sarcophagus and behaves like a hinge. It's a snug enough fit in those slots that you'll be able to raise and lower the top half at will with it keeping whatever position you choose, and then because it doesn't require glue you can just take that part of the hatch off if you felt so inclined. Hope that helps and made sense! Tichinde
The full kit can be built to open\close, the easy to build one is molded as part of the main body and doesn't move.
