Simplified fluff.

 

Death skull warband. Warboss loves hunting and lootin' "da big stuff". However, his last retinue couldn't be trusted. As such he's swapped his drinking mates for a flash gitz mob. Plenty dakka, kept close and well paid. Teef aren't needed if ya keep lootin' 'da good stuff'.

 

Unfortunately/ conveniently the bosses' big mob happens to consist of a bunch of mad boyz. Some regulars to keep em on the relatively straight and narrow. Also helps the boss get the best loot.

 

Alongside them are a bunch of grots - also easy to boss around, do fiddly jobs and collect loot.

 

They're led by a runtherd who's dead loyal to da boss. Especially as the resident mech built some field artillery for his grots.

 

There's some tankbustas in the warband too. Extra dakka and experts in bringin' down 'big stuff'.

 

Da boss has the tankbustas in competition with his warbands beast snaggas (codex permitting - ie it lands before we begin).

 

Lastly there's a dread. The backup for da boss if the sneaky flash gitz get any ideas or better offers.

 

That's where I'm at currently. The tankbustas are RT/ 2nd Ed orks. The "big mob" is the same. I've already got painted up - the boss, flash gitz, grots, mek guns, dread. Leaving two units and a runtherd to get done.

 

I am hoping that the codex arrives before the campaign starts but if not I can add the snaggas in as it progresses.
