Jukkiz
What would people use as Gabriel seth:s armor mark? I think phobos is close but gravis is too much. Anything i could use as base to convert upon? Inspecting Reiver kit (that we all love) i noted the combination of metal gear styled pistol and knife holding pair, that could be used as base to hold his Blood Reaver in most natural pose wiht minimal effort. as arms, backback and weapon are separate bits, there ain´t too much sawing to do, unless you want certain bits from the torso and legs.Slap me with your ideas. m0nolith
I googled Gabriel Seth and this is what I got on the first row of images. I dunno, looks wise it works pretty well for me. apologist
Doesn't strike me as a particularly stealthy figure, so I'd run with Tacticus plate. Perhaps one of the Assault Intercessors as a base. Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/367700-primarinading-seth/#findComment-5632369 Share on other sites
Tyberos the Red Wake
His original model and his character are both very no-nonsense so my immediate impression has always been generic default Tacticus or perhaps the new assault variant of Tacticus. IMO Phobos fits him the least out of all Primaris armor options. Mandragola
I think the Indomitus captain could be a good basis for conversions. Replace the shield with the chainsword stood on its end, probably embedded in a former enemy of the Emprah. You'd need a new right hand, preferably with nothing in it. If you prefer a more dynamic pose then the assault intercessor box is probably the way to go. It could be a challenge to get arms with a double handed grip on a sword but it's possible with a bit of surgery. I've got one of these guys to hold a DW heavy thunder hammer, for example. jaxom
Assault Intercessor body with a few additions (Iron Halo, purity seals, etc) but relatively no frills. Then, the two-handed sword arms (but not the pauldrons, use marine pauldrons) from Stormcast Eternal Prosecutors or Liberators and blame the slight fanciness on the Baal artificers who got their hands on his armor for repairs after the Devastation. Replace the sword with either the Seth chainblade or the chainblade from the Assault Marine kit and call it a day. Doghouse
I'd use one of the easy build running Assault Intercessors. Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/367700-primarinading-seth/#findComment-5632821 Share on other sites
Jukkiz
As others have said; He'd definitely wear a tacticus suit. His pose is best resembled by the running assault intercessors. In the shooty intercessor box you can find a number of arm bits that will, with some creativity let you do a two-handed sword grip. - I managed to put heavy bolters in their hands and they were definitely not made to do that. There's also a sufficiently angry, shouting bald head in there; You could of course use Seth's original head, but the new ones are fairly higher quality. Seth's own sword with his own hands still on it - cut away anything above the wrist. Hand size seems the same between primaris and firstborn. Original backpack decor - halo and wings carefully filed off of the old pack, stuck on an intercessor pack. I think you can also use the original model's cape. I'm sure it'll stick onto the new figure somehow. If you really wanna go crazy, squeeze some bluestuff on Seth's decorated bits to copy his chapter icons and such. You could take Chainsword bit and just cut it in half from handle, just between two hands and lenghten that handle to fit more primaris sized bodies. The backpack is one piece with cape and halo/wings bit but you could dremel the old powerpack away or make copy of whole bit easily, hmmm...
