Hey all.   Do any of you know if the Tin 'Eads - Krush n' Krump subculture works with Meka/Mega Dread's from Forge World?  I am assuming no but maybe it is FAQed someplace that I have not seen.  I just started playing Orks and I love the look of the Meka Dread and have been toying with the idea I getting one.  I was going to look at going with Tin 'Eads.

Thanks all!

Like you, I'd assume that they don't count. Irritating, since they would fit perfectly into a Dread Mob. I'll be piling my Mega Dread into my army regardless of whether it gets any synergy with the rest of the walkers. I enjoyed working on it so it's going in my army one way or another.

Unfortunately games workshop and forgeworld rules interactions are not exactly known for meeting up and shaking hands. Meka/mega dredds do not have the appropriate keyword to work with tin heads, and to my knowledge it hasnt (and likely won't) be faqd in.

That said, in a super friendly beer and pretzels kind of game? Id let you have it. Not too fussed about it-- and quite frankly, if you showed up with a tin eads list with some cool forgeworld meka/mega dredds more power to ya!

I agree with previous posters; if they lack the proper keywords, that's it. There's a chance when the FW FAQ comes out they rectify this, but currently, we have to go with what we've got.

For what it's worth, assuming our codex is in the next six months, I don't expect specialist mobs to make the transition, so this probably won't be a problem for long.

The fact that the main studio has begun to take care of the rules and they still left the FW dreads out is frankly embarassing. The Mega/Meka Dread is like the missing link between the Killa Kans/ Deff Dreads and the G/Morkanaut/Stompas and Gargants.

I can't see a solid reason for not including them, it's not like they are broken/overpowered and if they were, it would be because of the rules they themselves wrote. Having Forge World rules writers and main studio rules writers not communicating isn't even an excuse anymore.
