Modeling OG Necron destroyers options?

I might be misunderstanding, but are you trying to turn current Lokhust Destroyers into the Heavy Destroyer? Or turn the original Destroyers (the ones reclining on a floating platform) into the Heavy Destroyers?

Edit: I don't have any of the recliners so I can't comment on that but if you want to turn Lokhust Destroyers into Heavy Destroyers there will be size issues. The new Heavy model is beefier than the standard Destroyers.

I mean giving the old destroyers legal gun options using the heavy lokhust ones because when I checked the GW site in OZ I only see what look like the gauss cannon ones there in single and in a 3 man unit.

Yeah, the Lokhusts don't have the Heavy gun options in the kit.  Those guns are both brand new and currently only exist in the Heavy Lokhust kit.

Yeah? I could have sworn there were more OG destroyers with different guns back in the day for these. Didn't realize they were completely new guns.

There was previously a finecast upgrade kit to turn one Destroyer into a Heavy Destroyer, but the gun it had was just a Heavy Gauss Cannon.  It could very reasonably serve as the Gauss Destructor, though.

From memory, those guns were also quite large now I think about it more. So the Lokhust heavy guns would look about the same model profile- big gun, smaller basic chassis for basic destroyers, which were the same chassis before the new lokhust heavy destroyer single mini. I think I get it now. New gun on lokhust hopefully easy to magnetize between them.
