Dwango
Hello all Further to my question on how to magnetise aeldari vehicles for storage, I randomly came across the following on an ebay listing. Sadly I've had no joy in working out what it is. Its a small metal tube with teeth that small magnets can fit in. It should even stop the bikes from spinning on their axis with out the need for multiple magnets being installed. As always any help would be greatly appreciated! Xenith
That's not a GW standard piece, but probably exactly what you say it is. Mendi Warrior
The part on the right (protruding from the model) makes me think of shelf cleats, the other might be a related socket. Maybe from DIY or specialised stores? NovemberIX
Looks like a small Hirth style coupling, I dunno why but it looks like something related to cycling or even automotive. NovemberIX
So I kept looking wondering why would someone make a coupling like that (mechanically it makes little sense), as I clicked my pen in thought, and like that it....clicked.... https://www.alibaba.com/product-detail/Ballpoint-pen-actuator-Twist-type-shiny_62061770862.html?spm=a2700.details.deiletai6.8.71285e7bVzFvF7 Lord Raven 19, Dwango and Dr_Ruminahui 3 Back to top Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/367756-help-identifying-the-item-in-the-image/#findComment-5633596 Share on other sites
Dwango
Well that's very interesting and has got me looking around my house for suitable pens to disassemble. I'm going to try one tonight and see if I can get it to work. This could very well be inspired!
