Starting Logan Grimnar’s Great Company

Getting one and all,

It’s been a long time coming, but I am slowly getting back into our wonderful hobby.

Some may remember that in ages past, I painted up Sven Bloodhowl’s Great Company, but I wanted to try something new.

This gent will soon join the ranks of Logan Grimnar’s Great Company.

This is a WIP, but any C&C would be gratefully accepted.

Off to a very good start here. I like this armour colour a lot, it puts me in mind of the old studio Space Wolves before they got their birds-egg blue overhaul.

@space wolf - Hah! Yeah... I’ve always been in two minds about the Santa’s sleigh model... but I have it, as well as a spare Grimnar on foot... guess we’ll see how they turn out.

 

@Urauloth - thanks - yeah, was never sure how the robin’s egg blue of ‘eavy metal is meant to equate with storm cloud grey of the fluff, but there you go. But I’ve always preferred the darker grey, so here we are.

 

As you can see from the background, he has some mates that will soon join him. Here’s hoping I’ll be posting an update soon.
