Bringing my bikers back

I played a 1250 Highlander format game yesterday. I switched up the list to make room for a pack of Blood Claw Bikers.

Now I’ve always loved my biker packs but damn, these guys are good.

I used a pack of 5 which included Attack Bike with HB, a MG and a PF.

They formed my first wave, with my Wulfen a Wulfen Dread and Murder fang following as fast as they could on my left flank. My ThunderWolves and Lord I’m ThunderWolf rolled up my right (these I held back a bit out of LOS)

The Bikers shot up then pulled off a first turn assault against a Warsuit that deployed a little too close, they then drew fire from the majority of my opponents army as he shifted his position allowing for a nice follow up with my other assault units and leaving the right side clear of any real threats for my Cav.

Now to just squeeze in good ole’ Thorgrimm in his bike into the list...

Thorgrimm! Absolutely mandatory for him to bathe in the blood of his foes! 

Nice hearing you are having some early success with the old blood claw bikers.

I know it has been years since you did a batrep with Thorgrimm but I loved reading them

 

Will be glad to see him ride again

 

 

I think you are going to enjoy some success with bike lists

 

I have made the switch and put all 3 of my HQs on bikes in my recent list changes

 

Chapter Master on bike has the Hunt + Armor of Russ so he can advance and charge

His right hand man is a captain on bike with Bear + Pelt of Balewolf 

The final member of the Sons of Fenris is a primaris chaplain on a bike 

 

All that mobility helps with objectives and T5 keeps the chaff away
