Bread and butter 500 points list with no gravis units

What squads/choices come to mind for units to take at 500 points of Deathwatch, with the main restriction being a blanket ban on Gravis units or Primaris transporters? Also, what role do jump pack firstborn play in such an army?

There is a lot of threads pertaining to your questions in here as well as list posts. Pretty much at 500 points DW can flex on any contender with just vets.

 

Vanguard vets are the most points efficient hth unit for marines.

 

If you have marine models not painted...make kill teams and characters.
