Contemptor ball joints from Shapeways?

Does anyone have any experience with the Contemptor ball joints by Tight Bore Designs on Shapeways?  They're designed for the BaC plastic dread.

 

I wasn't able to find any pictures of them in use and, looking at the dread sprue and the Shapeways images, I'm not quite sure how they'd interface.

 

Can anyone illuminate me?

These are so you can change the plastic Contemptpra out of that awful statuesque pose, right? I’d be interested to see how effective they are.

 

Maybe a message directly to the seller would illuminate?
