Dam13n
Over the last few weeks I decided to indulge myself with a few one-off single miniature projects. This all came about after seeing some very cool Primaris Black Templars that were getting shared in the Grimdark Painters group on Facebook. I decided I fancied having a go, and the first of these miniatures was the result: Satisfied, but not entirely sated, I then moved on to create a counter-point model, and so a Khornate Word Bearer began taking form. This time, I decided to accompany the kit-bash with some resculpting work, to reshape the breastplate and greaves into something a little more suitable for a Chaos Marine. Finally, to complete the trio, I decided to fully indulge myself. I've always liked painting yellow, and the last Imperial Fist I painted was done years ago. So, finding a tech-priest's servo-arm in my bits box - a Siege Master was created. This involved even more sculpting work than the Word Bearer, but I think it was worth the effort. So, here he is alongside his "brothers": Here are a few WIP pics of the Imperial Fist to show how he came about: C&C welcome. Debauchery101
Looks great. I feel like the Khornate plasma gunner will purposefully overcharge it until explodes...which means it may be his first day using it Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/367949-a-trio-of-converted-primaris/#findComment-5638284 Share on other sites
Dam13n
He's meant to be more of a devotee to the "God of War" aspect of Khorne, than the typical insane berzerker stereotype. So, he's more likely to be judicious with his plasma. After all, the longer he lives, the more skulls he can personally offer the throne. Interestingly, one of the concepts that drove the Templar kit-bash, was that he was so full of Zeal that even after his plasma pistol overheated and claimed his left hand, he refused to admit defeat, got a bionic and just carried on using the same pistol. After all it's not like it can blow his left hand off twice... :D Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/367949-a-trio-of-converted-primaris/#findComment-5638710 Share on other sites
