coabeous
I think Christopher Lambert's 1999 post-apocalyptic try at Beowulf makes a pretty good 40K movie. Check out some of their melee weapons and Lambert could be a Inquisitor. It has its Grimdark moments. coabeous
This one. Not saying its great cinema but it could be a OK 40k movie. Urauloth
I don't really agree, but I do think it's a fun movie and more people should watch it. Lexington
It’s been a decade, so who knows, but I remember this movie being bad to the point of near-incoherence, tho slightly redeemed by some decent visuals and costume work. So, like, yeah. Hard to disagree with the OP’s sentiment. :D Edited December 3, 2020 by Lexington Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/367988-i-finally-going-to-say-it/#findComment-5639205 Share on other sites

Brother Tyler
Any number of science fiction/science fantasy movies could easily be reimagined in the WH40K universe, either as micro-settings within the larger setting (as this discussion posits for Beowulf) or as inspiration for some aspect of the setting. For example, the aforementioned Highlander movie was most likely the inspiration for the Sensei of 1st edition (continued through 3rd edition and most likely later turned into the concept of the Perpetuals).
