War of the Eagle
As a sharp contrast to my shooty Raptors Chapter I have started a CQC focussed Chapter. I will be using them as White Scars sucessors, with a focus on bikers. The Baleful Hounds have a tendency to slaughter all bodys between them and their objective, friends and foe alike. Suprisingly tho they have a deep respect and tradition of challenging foes they feel are worthy to 1v1 combat, and if the foe wins they will grant that foe leave if they so wish. This can occasionally result In the escape of powerful enemy warlords and is one of many reason the Chapter was excommunicated. Captain On Bike Chaplain on Bike Librarian Champion I have allot more models in the works to post soon. Bjorn Firewalker
Impressive work on the BaleKnight. I think the rocket launcher is better placed atop the Dreadnought torso, so its point-of-aim won't shift as the BaleKnight's arm swings up and down, spoiling the shot. I originally had it on the main body, but it made it look like a weird head at a glance so I moved it. very cool unmaker and baleknight. like the terminator head and tall legsThanks, I had to extend those waddle legs. also the tusked terminator heads have been my favorite heads in the game since I started back in 4thed. Tho they where metal back then. Maybe use plasticard or green stuff to make a housing, shaped like a beast's head, for the weapon, so the BaleKnight looks more intimidating? Hell, I wrote Special Rules for a similar weapons housing here (search for "Avernus armor"), stating the equipped unit may replace a lost Wound with a Weapon Destroyed result, as enemies would mistake the weapon for the unit's actual head. Syrakul
Those heavy intercessors look great! Good job getting the full 5 done up. They remind me of when ppl convert centurions with longer legs, less eagles and (sometimes) clipped missile armpits. (Which IMO is good thing) And nice sprinkling of wolf/chaos stuff for subtle chapter customization. Looking forward to seeing how your paint scheme looks on them! War of the Eagle
Really really like that chaptermaster. Any thoughts on paint scheme? Thanks, he really stood out of the crowd in my last game. Sure even more so when I paint him. And the colors will likely be dark grey and off white I think, with some rusty metal bits. 2 of the 5 finished "Relic" Terminators. War of the Eagle
gravinators woooooo. I've found the terminator shoulder badge plate works as a good alternative for the cod piece Used up all the terminator plates on the heavy gravis Intercessors. I dont know if its just chaos termis but I found that they where fairly close proportions to gravis marines. Mostly they where just huntched over in more dynamic poses. Gravis armor has thicker boots tho so I made the normal terminator legs have thicker soles. I just finished a squad of 5 hell blasters. Heres a couple. Added lots of skulls so they'd live up to their names. ranulf the revenant, Sagentus and Galloway 3 Back to top Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/368031-baleful-hounds-renegade-chapter/#findComment-5646129 Share on other sites
