I read on the wiki that in this short story, it's mentioned that

 

Trazyn has a force of Dusk Raiders in his collection (i.e. pre-Mortarion XIVth Legion warriors from either late Unification Wars or early Great Crusade)

 

Does the story offer any more details? Looking forward to any interesting spoilers

I'll quote it, it's just a line from when parts of his gallery breaks down and his carefully arranged collections start attacking each other.

 

 

“In one hangar, an antique Dreadnought staggered as orks clung to its surface, beating it with pipes and wrenches. In the next, a group of Dusk Raiders, trudging through snow, had broken through to the adjoining display and engaged a troupe of Harlequins performing in a wraithbone palace. The next cubicle was a riot of motion blur. A pack of hounds leapt and snarled, slipping in and out of existence with each jump. One had blinked through the divider and was tearing at a t’au diplomat the water caste had unwisely dispatched to Solemnace.”

I'm neutral toward Trazyn himself as a character, but I think his collection is a great springboard for zanier 40K stories

I took them to be flesh hounds. Daemons sometimes get written with this sort of flickering in and out of reality thing.

The story bit that intrigued me the most was the giants library diorama. My first thought was he had a Primarch (so that's where Vulcan got to after TBA?) but now I'm not so sure. Enjoyed the story.
