Well they are likely former night lords dedicating themselves to nurgle so likely would still keep nightlord colors but would become bloated and rusted (deathguard models)

I would even do some head and armor swaps to be a bit less like direct deathguard, more like nurgle-aligned CSM, then paint them nightlord colors with corrosion and moldy bits.

They would probably delight in how their shambling corroded forms would affect horror in the victims; I would do skull masks, or use zombie heads for helmet-less models.

I painted the Plague Marines for my Night Lords in my normal Night Lords colour scheme, just changing the Nuln Oil for Agrax Earthshade and leaving them dirtier/darker:

As others have wrote, I think you should paint your plague marines in the Night Lords colors but make them more grimy than your rank and file marines. I agree with Syrakul that Nurgle worshipping Night Lords would probably enjoy the fear they caused by shambling towards the enemy.

I play Black Legion. I've painted both Plague Marines and Berkzerkers in the black and gold. I'll eventually add Rubric Marines.

Just wondering how people paint their cult marines for other legions. Got some plague marines for night lords and was wondering if they should keep the green and bronze or go for the blue.

Are the cult marines from that legion, or another legion joining them in the warband? If theyre night lord Plague Marines, then they would be in NL colours.

My cult Marines are part of my IW warband, so are in IW colours:
