Considering the massive amounts of salt this question would generate on other forums that shall not be named (I wouldn't keep going over there but it's so much livelier), what do you run into besides other Marines that consistently gives you trouble on the tabletop?

For me it's Drukhari. The guy I play against consistently runs Wracks and Talos with the character that buffs their saves, and it's hard to push them off objectives and/or wipe units so they don't get recycled. The caveat is we're a 1000 point meta, so I'm curious how things look at higher point values.

My biggest counter right now are SoB, they benefitted alot from HB, PS, and MM getting updated.

Why Nids. Intercessors, Bolter Inceptors plus Bolter Aggressors equals bad day for Nids in my experience.

I think it has a lot to do with playing at a 1000 points. Nids overall aren't that strong, but that doesn't mean that they don't have a few outliers and lower point games allows them to lean into them hard. Edited by Jorin Helm-splitter

Heavy psyker and hive guard with impalers. All those units are great for Nids, but they get hit by smite and can't see the impalers. But I've been refining my tactics and feel confident in victory when next we meet.

The game isn't balanced at 500 at all, and is still wonky at 1k, as skew lists are much easier to build and harder to counter when you can't make a balanced force because pts.

The example I ran into at 1k was a Nid force that was almost entirely multi wound models with a 3++ that spat out ungodly amounts of mortal wounds (Zoanthrope spam)
