War of the Eagle
Black with white chest aquilas. Left shoulder paldron trim color denotes company. Sargents have white helms, and vets have white helms and white arms and paldrons. Google will give you tons of references with a quick search. duz_ 1 Back to top Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/368243-rg-colour-scheme/#findComment-5646484 Share on other sites
Dracos
From our Supplement Trim 1st - white 2nd - yellow 3rd - red 4th - green 5th - black 6th - orange 7th - purple 8th - grey 9th - blue 10th - no trim so black Sgts - white helmet Vets - white pauldrons and arms You're going to laugh . . . but I couldn't pick out a figure that was obviously a Lieutenant. Shrike (and Captains) - white helmet, pauldrons and arms Terminator art in the Supplement had black pauldrons Invictors followed their company colors whereas dreadnoughts looked like Vets Edited December 20, 2020 by Dracos duz_ and Race Bannon 2 Back to top Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/368243-rg-colour-scheme/#findComment-5646496 Share on other sites

Lord Raven 19
I just do officers (inc sgts) with white helms and vets (and senior officers) with white hands, works fine for me. greatcrusade08 1 Back to top Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/368243-rg-colour-scheme/#findComment-5651571 Share on other sites

Claws and Effect
Worth noting: The pics you were given are the old scheme when the trim color denoted squad type. They don't do that anymore (probably because there is such a wider variety of squad types now). Now the trim color denotes company, like the other Codex compliant Chapters. Still only on the right pad though (model's right, not your right). Unless they are wearing Phobos armor, in which case the trim color goes on the left because there's no trim on the other side. greatcrusade08 1 Back to top Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/368243-rg-colour-scheme/#findComment-5654786 Share on other sites

They don't do that anymore (probably because there is such a wider variety of squad types now). Or you do as the lore says (think it was in Insignium Astartes, if not the actual Marines Codex at some point) and follow the actual Codex Astartes as originally laid down by Guilliman, who said chapters’ insignia patterns should change every once in a while, and say that your force has reverted back to older iconography, if you prefer that scheme...
