Sanguinary Priest and Apothecary keyword question

The SP has the apothecary keyword, so can an SP be used as the apothecary that becomes available when you take a command squad? Or does that have to be a regular basic apothecary?

The Command Squad rule is on the apothecary's datasheet, so only that specific datasheet benefits from this rule.

Agreed, we don't get slot-free Sanguinary Priest.

 

On the other hand, the Apothecary keyword means that the Sanguinary Priest can be upgraded to the Master Apothecary which is great for a character with access to a Jump Pack.

Can the primaris be the free slot apothecary or does it have to be a first born?

Only the regular Apothecary has the Command Squad rule on his data sheet. That is why the rule only applies to him and not any unit with the Apothecary keyword. Edited December 25, 2020 by Karhedron

After playing with a bike captain I’ve noticed ruins and impassable terrain really hamper movement. Jump pack is king for mobility.
